Sales and Traffic Agent

Turkish Airlines is looking for a Sales and Traffic Agent.


Job Description


As the Sales Agent or Sales Representative, you will be part of the sales team to achieve assigned revenue targets by providing technical support and data within prescribed time frames. You will provide maximum support to the sales force in order to achieve revenue targets and raise awareness of Turkish Airlines’ products and services.  


  • Providing necessary market intelligence, reports, highlighting the opportunities to improve, yields and market share

  • Use analytical tools to generate market share, revenue and sales data

  • Research and analyze individual markets and place Turkish Airlines in very visible place in the market and secure maximum market share of traffic on the market

  • Preparing travel agency and corporate fare updates, policy changes, product updates according to conditions of market

  • Developing sales and marketing plans, sales/marketing reports, monthly reports/yearly reports

  • Representing company in activities like agency events, workshops and roadshows

  • Coordination and submission of annual marketing activity plans and budgets

  • Tracking and reporting of return investment on advertising, promotions, sponsorship's and sales marketing activities

  • Provide maximum technical support of the sales force to ensure increased awareness of Turkish Airlines products and services

  • Handle inquiries, problems encountered by the corporate/agent and liaise with relevant department of head office

  • Contribute in managing distribution channels and database for the sales team


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of university degree

  • Permanent residence permit in the CZ (The Company will not provide or assist with work permits)

  • Job-related experience with an Airline or a tour operator is a must - (Minimum 2 years)

  • Previous experience in a sales agent role is a plus

  • The ability to cope with situations that create pressure

  • Good command of English, Turkish is a plus.

  • Strong MS Office skills

  • Being a team player

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Good knowledge and experience of a major Computer Reservations System

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Sense of responsibility

  • Ability to make decisions accurately and effectively
